Moom adds a popup to the macOS green maximize button that lets you snap windows to halves, thirds, quarters, or custom-defined layouts with a single click or keyboard shortcut. It can save and restore full window arrangements, making it easy to return to a known multi-window setup with one keystroke. Simpler than Rectangle Pro for layout snapshots.

Saved Layouts
Window β Save Window Layout Snapshot saves the current arrangement of all windows. You can restore it anytime from the Moom menu bar icon. Assign a keyboard shortcut for instant recall.
Custom Moves
In Preferences β Custom, build sequences of move/resize actions triggered by a single shortcut. Chain ‘move to top-left quarter + resize to 25%’ into one keystroke.
Hover Delay
Set the popup delay in Preferences so it doesn’t trigger accidentally when reaching for the close button. 0.3β0.5 seconds is a comfortable default.
