Quitter Auto-hide or quit apps after inactivity

Quitter automatically hides or quits apps you haven’t used for a set amount of time. Useful for keeping Slack, Mail, or other notification-heavy apps from sitting in the background demanding attention. Configure per-app rules: some apps hide after 5 minutes, others quit entirely after 30. Runs silently in the menu bar.

Rules
Each rule targets a specific app. Set action (Hide or Quit), inactivity threshold (minutes), and optionally a time-of-day window when the rule is active.
Hide vs Quit
Hide removes the app from screen and Dock without closing it โ€” fast to reopen. Quit fully closes the app โ€” saves memory but takes longer to relaunch.
Exceptions
Quitter won’t hide/quit an app if it has an active document with unsaved changes, preventing accidental data loss.
